Hello everyone and welcome to this new guide. 
As the title suggests, today we are going to analyze the progression of equipment for PvM. The server features 4 PvM sets, in this order: CUSTODIAN, PALADIN, EXPLORER, and ANCIENT. Among these sets, only the CUSTODIAN set is droppable, while the rest are obtained by upgrading the previous set. Let's explore each in detail.
CUSTODIAN SET
The CUSTODIAN set drops from the MINOTAUR. Let's go over the required items for upgrading from +0 to +9:
Like all sets on the server, the upgrade from +0 to +6 is guaranteed to succeed and only requires a small amount of Yang.
+6 -> +7: 4 White Pearls, 1 Crystal (80% success rate)
+7 -> +8: 4 Blue Pearls, 1 Sky Tear (40% success rate)
+8 -> +9: 4 Red Pearls, 1 Platinum, 1 Counterattack Strategy (15% success rate)
Crystals, Sky Tears, Platinum, and the various pearls can be dropped in maps 110/135. The drop rate in map 110 is fairly low, so take advantage of this to improve your set by a few upgrades, then finish it in map 135. The strategies can be dropped at any level in Atlantis 2. It is recommended to use METALS.
Once you have +9, you will upgrade the CUSTODIAN set to the PALADIN set. The required item is the PALADIN KEY, which can be dropped with a bit of luck from the SNAKE QUEEN.
The upgrade has a 25% success rate.
PALADIN SET
The PALADIN set can only be obtained by upgrading the CUSTODIAN set.
+6 -> +7: 4 White Pearls, 1 Crystal (80% success rate)
+7 -> +8: 4 Blue Pearls, 1 Sky Tear (40% success rate)
+8 -> +9: 4 Red Pearls, 1 Platinum, 1 Counterattack Strategy (15% success rate)

The EXPLORER set cannot be further upgraded, so it is directly epic'd into the ANCIENT set.
The epic upgrade requires ANCIENT WATER, which can be dropped from the FEAR DUNGEON. The upgrade has a very low success rate of 5%.
ANCIENT SET
The ANCIENT set is the final PvM set. It is the only set that also includes ANCIENT ARMOR, which can be obtained by upgrading the Celestial Armor, available from the armor merchant. The epic upgrade requires ANCIENT GEMS x5, obtainable from the FEAR DUNGEON. The upgrade has a very low success rate of 5%.
PVM Weapons
Level 130 Weapons
The PVM weapon set can be farmed in the level 135 map from the metins. This set can be upgraded to the Explorer set.

The Explorer weapon set is upgraded from the level 135 weapons. You will need

This is the final PvM weapon set, recently added. It is relatively complex to craft, but don’t worry: it’s not an essential set.
It is upgraded from the Explorer set and requires:
- x5 Ancient Gems (Fear Dungeon)
- x1 Red Herb
- x2 Souls specific to the weapon type (Ancient Altar Dungeon).
